SUMMARY:Atrium Medical Center HEAL Program Memory Tree Lighting
DESCRIPTION:The holiday season is often a time to remember and reflect on life. For parents who have lost a child\, the holidays can be a time of painful memories of brief but cherished moments. To help families through these troubling times\, Atrium Medical Center's Help Endure a Loss (HEAL) Program invites families to its 22nd annual Memory Tree Lighting\, a seasonal remembrance for those who have experienced the death of a child.\n\n \n\nIn 2020\, virtual has become the new normal\, and Atrium will continue the HEAL Memory Tree Lighting tradition in a virtual format on Thursday\, Dec. 3\, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The virtual event will include a ceremony\, candle lighting and reading of names. Names should be submitted by Nov. 20 at HEAL2020.givesmart.com. \n\n \n\nAs it has in the past\, the ceremony will include music\, a reading of names\, candle lighting and ornaments. New this year\, the HEAL Program will provide a decorative battery powered lantern\, personalized ornament and gifts to everyone who registers a name(s). These items will be available for pick up at Crosspointe Church of Christ (5630 Ohio 122\, Middletown\, OH 45005) on Monday\, Nov. 23\, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. \n\n \n\nDuring the ceremony\, you will be invited to light the lantern in memory of your loved one(s) as names are read aloud.\n\n \n\n"We hope that even though we can't be together in person\, we'll all come together in spirit\," says Melinda Mintkenbaugh\, HEAL Coordinator at Atrium.\n\n \n\nAtrium's HEAL Program provides counseling and other services free of charge to every family in need. For more information about the HEAL Program and its support services\, visit www.AtriumMedCenter.com/HEAL or email HEAL@AtriumMedCenter.org.\n\nThe holiday season is often a time to remember and reflect on life.
