DESCRIPTION:Atrium Medical Center in Middletown will host a blood drive from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday\, Feb. 1. The Community Blood Center Bloodmobile will be parked at One Medical Center Drive near the ambulance entrance to the Emergency Trauma Center. The blood center is offering the "Rise\, Shine & Give" ceramic coffee tumbler to everyone who registers to donate.\n\nDonors are encouraged to schedule an appointment online at www.DonorTime.com or call 1-800-388-GIVE.\n\nWinter presents many challenges to maintaining the area blood supply. A high number of donors have not been able to donate this winter because of seasonal illness. If you must miss an appointment to donate\, reschedule when you can. \n\nDonors are required to provide a photo ID that includes their full name.  Past donors are also asked to bring their Community Blood Center donor ID card. Donors must be at least 16 years of age\, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds\, and be in good physical health. Individuals with eligibility questions are invited to email canidonate@cbccts.org or call 1(800)388-GIVE.\n\nAgain\, make your appointment to donate at Atrium Feb. 1 online at www.DonorTime.com.
