Learn more about Atrium Medical Center’s sports medicine and physical therapy services at a public open house from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17.
During that time, attendees can tour the facility—located within Countryside YMCA—and meet physical therapy staff. The YMCA and physical therapy services are located at Ralph J. Stolle Countryside YMCA, 1697 Deerfield Rd., Lebanon, OH, 45036. Use entrance B.
There will be free movement screenings and injury risk assessments.
Additionally, staff will be available to discuss: pelvic floor rehabilitation; vestibular rehabilitation for dizziness and imbalance issues; improved concussion outcomes with vestibular rehabilitation; integrative dry needling; aquatic rehabilitation; information on youth baseball injuries and throwing mechanics; running drills used by Olympians to improve mechanics and decrease risk of injury; consultation on aches or pains; and consultation on exercise or fitness activities.
October is National Physical Therapy Month. Experiencing pain? Physical therapists can provide treatment using movement and exercise, which can help patients improve strength, flexibility and range of motion, according to American Physical Therapy Association.
