Middletown Community Foundation Regrets to Inform You of the Resignation of Executive Director, Sarah Nathan, Ph.D.
The Board of Directors of the Middletown Community Foundation regrets to inform you that Sarah Nathan, Ph.D., has submitted her resignation as Executive Director, effective December 31, 2025. The Board congratulates Dr. Nathan on her recent engagement, which will take her and her daughter to Maine, and extends its deepest gratitude for her leadership, dedication, and commitment to the Foundation’s mission.
Dr. Nathan joined the Foundation in October 2021 and has been a dynamic and visionary leader. During her tenure, she advanced the organization’s use of technology, strengthened services for local nonprofits, and spearheaded important initiatives, including a partnership with Shared Harvest to distribute food to people living in poverty through an efficient network. Most recently, she was instrumental in launching GrantLink, a collaborative effort with the Hamilton Community Foundation, City of Hamilton, and Butler County United Way, which kicked off last week.
To ensure a seamless transition, the Board has established a Search Committee to identify the next Executive Director who will guide the Foundation into its 50th anniversary year in 2026 and beyond.
The Middletown Community Foundation currently manages $47 million in assets and proudly serves the communities of Franklin, Madison Township, Middletown, Monroe, and Trenton.
We thank Dr. Nathan for her service and wish her continued success in her future endeavors.
